- Picking up the newspapper, you begin to read this -
Last Night the Hogwarts Christmas Ball was raided by a group of 4-5 Death Eaters. The Ball was full of Students, Proffesors and the Minster himself protected by his Aurors.
About Halfway throw the Ball there had been no sign of a Death Eater attack so people started to lay off there defences and start enjoying themesevles. This is when they striked! They came throw the door and draw there wands. Students fleed the scene as soon as the Death Eaters arrived. The Aurors and other staff members where quick to respond but it was to late. The Minster was attacked himself and many Proffesors and Aurors where injured.
Sadly there was one death from this attack. One Death Eater pointed his wand towards the Minstry of Magic Minster and casted Avada Kedavra the killing curse. He was dead before anyone could save him from this Horrific attack. Staff Members and Aurors stood around him in shock when the Death Eaters finnaly left. They left behind there path of distruction.
I was talking to a Hufflepuff student and this is what she told me. " They came stroming in throw the door with there wands drawn. I was so scared and just ran. When I shut the door behind me I could still hear the screams of people being hurt. It was horrible! "
Another Ravenclawn student told me this " They came in like they where planning this. They went for the Aurors first and really blanked the students. I tried to fight but the Death Eaters where to powerful. "
The Headmaster did breif the school that there may be a Death Eater attack but no one planned for it to be this bad. Staff members spent there whole day protecting the school walls from Death Eaters but sadly this did not work.
This was a night to remember but not for the right reason. Many students, Proffesors and Aurors will be sacred for life now.
