The Escaped Death Eater, has recently commited a savage murder of one of the finest Aurors. Igor Gendelford's body was found covered in immense scars, however they are not what killed him. It has recently spread that He was hit by the Killing Curse while dueling the Death Eater.
Few Witnesses who dared to make a stand have been called forth and have recently told us, that the duel started in Knockturn Alley where the Auror was called after a sighting. It was here, where Igor had made his first mistake. Within moments buildings around the two dueling we're destroyed. As they progressed into Diagon Alley several people we're mortally wounded in the crossfire. It is apparent that some bystanders attempted to help Mr. Gendelford as he attempted to hold off the expert duelist, however they failed as the curses began to fly forth. As several reknown shops we're hit the buildings fronts rested in rubble and smoke. After ten minutes of non-stop spell fire, the two began to weaken. Igor was close to overtaking the Death eater until, he was hit by the killing curse. His body was known to have fallen down in the last moment of the hour, as everyone watched a man die before them.
Ministry Officials we're notified previous before the duel had commenced however, they did not arrive until Igor Gendelford had passed, and the Death Eater had escaped their grip yet again.
The Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement refused to give us an Interview after the procedes. The Head Auror has refused to give us an Interview do to his current state. It is apparent that he knew Mr. Gendelford well as they had captured the Death Eater known as Jacob Gendelford together in Diagon Alley a previous week before.
