Im confused, I know Grading up is for example R1 - R2... But I dont know how you do it.

Well I also know its to do with the grades you get in class... Example: Potions = EE (ect...)

But How many grades of what do you need to year up?

If you know, Please tell me the concept.

To move from Year 1 - Year 2, You need 2 passing Grades (A,EE,O)
To move from Year 2 - Year 3, You need 4 passing Grades (A,EE,O)
To move from Year 3 - Year 4, You need 6 passing Grades (A,EE,O)
To move from Year 4 - Year 5, You need 10 O Grades.
To move from Year 5 - Year 6, You need 13 O Grades.
To move from Year 6 - Year 7, You need 15 O Grades.

A passing grade is anything from O to P i believe: for example you mentioned 4 passing grades It would be (example):

Dueling: EE
Potions: O
Muggle Studies: A
History of Magic: O
